4-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Safari from Zanzibar

Your adventure begins at the Zanzibar airport, where you will board a light aircraft for a breathtaking flight over the Indian Ocean and the Great Rift Valley.

You will land directly at a bush airstrip in the heart of the Serengeti, where your private guide will be waiting. You will spend your first afternoon exploring the Seronera Valley, a region famous for its high density of leopards and lions.

As the sun sets over the acacia-spotted horizon, you will head to your tented camp for a dinner under the stars.

You will wake up to the dawn chorus of the savannah for a full day of discovery. Without the need to travel to a new park, you can venture deep into the plains, following the movement of the Great Migration or scouting the granite Kopjes for prides of lions.

You will have the entire day to immerse yourself in the unscripted rhythm of the wild—from watching elephants at a waterhole to enjoying a private picnic lunch under a lone whistling thorn tree.

You will enjoy one final morning game drive in the Serengeti, catching the predators while the air is still cool and the light is golden.

After a midday lunch, you will begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you leave the plains, the landscape will transform into the lush, mist-covered green highlands.

You will arrive at your lodge perched on the Crater Rim in the late afternoon, where you will witness one of the most spectacular views in Africa as the sun dips into the caldera below.

At first light, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari on the crater floor. This self-contained paradise offers your best chance to spot the endangered Black Rhino alongside massive bull elephants and dense prides of lions.

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you will ascend the crater walls and drive toward Arusha. You will arrive at the airport in time for your return flight to Zanzibar, carrying the spirit of the wild back to the beach.
