Tanzania Wildlife Safari & Authentic Masai Village

You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your campsite for dinner & overnight.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you heading to Lake Manyara National Park. The park offers a big ecological variety in a more condensed area. The mahogany and acacia trees are inhabited by the famous tree-climbing lions. If you’re lucky, you might spot them lazing on a tree branch.

As you make your way out of the dense bushland into the open grassy banks of the lake, you will see wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and large buffalo in abundance, grazing away. The lake itself is home to a large number of birds thriving at the water’s edge. More than 400 species have been identified, and one of the highlights is the thousands of strolling flamingos.

Between all this beauty, you have a lunch break at midday and at the end of the afternoon, you drive back to Karatu Simba Camp Lodge for dinner and a night of peaceful sleep with sweet dreams.

Depart Karatu in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a chance to see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to look for some of the wild game before sunset and dinner at the campsite.

Today, you will head out early on your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife as you exit the park. Late afternoon you will be heading to Ngorongoro for relaxation, diner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa’s Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave your hotel heading to the village, a 1-hour drive. After arriving there you’ll spend hours with the Maasai people.

Here is where you’ll get to know Maasai art and dance, spiritual customs, medical and herbal practices, crafts, and, of course, their hearty and tasty cuisine.

After all maasai activities Later you will be driven back to your hotel in Arusha or transferred to the airport.
