5 Days Tanzania Safari, Coffee & Waterfalls – Mid Range

You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your Lodge for dinner & overnight.

Depart your hotel in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a chance to see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to look for some of the wild game before sunset and dinner at the Lodge.

Today, you will head out early on your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife as you exit the park.

– The best time to capture lovely pictures in beautiful light.

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa’s Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before heading back to Arusha.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the hotel and proceed to Materuni Waterfalls. It is a 2 hours’ drive to Materuni village, located at the bottom of Mt Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and hike for 30 minutes to Materuni Waterfalls, which are about 80 m high, to swim as well as explore nature.

In the village, you will learn about their traditions and customs, as well as how the local people, who are Chagga, grow and process the coffee for substance use. You will visit a coffee farm, pick coffee and make your own strong coffee locally.

Later, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Arusha.
