Day 3: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will know why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains”.

The park has 18,000sq km (6,900sq mi), and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the venue of the Great Migration and home to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it is the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings being filmed in this park.

Day 4: Serengeti Full-Day Game Drive

Day 5: Serengeti- Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7: Serene Beauty at Lake Manyara National Park

Explore the diverse ecosystems during a private game drive, from the alkaline lake filled with flamingos to dense forests where elephants and baboons roam. After a leisurely lunch, visit local cultural sites or indulge in a scenic nature walk.

After an enchanting game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, we will embark on a scenic drive in the late afternoon to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Here, you will board an evening flight to Zanzibar, where your tropical escape continues.

Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxurious beachfront hotel for a delightful dinner, followed by an evening of relaxation and a peaceful overnight stay, all while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the island.

DAY 8: FULL DAY BEACH RELAXING.

Spend your day unwinding or swimming at the beautiful beach directly in front of the hotel. Enjoy the sun, sand, and sea, capturing memorable photos of your seaside experience. Day 2: SPICE FARMS & NUNGWI NATURAL AQUARIUM

Embark on a captivating journey through lush spice gardens where you’ll explore a diverse array of spices and tropical fruit trees. Experience Zanzibar’s robust spices firsthand, including nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, vanilla, black pepper, cinnamon, and cloves. Following your spice exploration, dive into the wonders of the Nungwi Natural Aquarium in North Zanzibar. This renowned marine sanctuary showcases over 500 species from the Indian Ocean. Skip the long lines and immerse yourself in the vibrant underwater world at Nungwi Baraka Aquarium. Marvel at the colorful coral reefs and observe sea turtles in their natural tidal habitat.

DAY 10: PRISON ISLAND AND STONE TOWN WALKING TOUR.

After breakfast, enjoy a serene boat ride to Changuu Island, located northwest of Stone Town. This 20-minute journey by motorboat will bring you to an island with a storied past, once a refuge for rebellious slaves and now home to the impressive Aldabra tortoises, brought from Seychelles in the late 19th century.

Take time to explore the tortoise sanctuary where you can interact closely with these majestic creatures, feed them, and capture memorable photographs. Discover the fascinating old prison building on the island as well. For lunch, savor a delightful Swahili meal featuring seafood BBQ and exotic tropical fruits you may have never tried before.

In the afternoon, delve into the historic heart of Zanzibar, known as Stone Town. This cultural gem offers a chance to meander through narrow, historic alleys and uncover landmarks such as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Sultan’s Palace, and Darajani Market. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere of this renowned historic district.
