09 – Days Beach Holiday & Game Drive Safari

You’ll arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your driver-guide in a 4×4 pop-up Land Cruiser greets you. After settling in at Ibis Style Hotel, you’ll unwind at the hotel in anticipation of the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. You’ll arrive at hotel in time for lunch and some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out on your first exciting game drive across the vast plains of the reserve, home to the Big Five as well as cheetahs and zebras. Optional: Enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai village to learn about the culture and customs of the Maasai people. Driving distance: approximately 270 km / 5–6 hours.

Today is devoted to discovering the reserve’s remarkable wildlife with both morning and afternoon game drives. Watch the golden savannah awaken as herds of wildebeest and elephants roam, while elusive predators such as leopards prowl the plains. Take in the spectacle of the Mara River, a vital habitat alive with hippos and crocodiles, before returning to the hotel for a peaceful evening beneath the stars.

After a final sunrise game drive and breakfast, you’ll journey onward to Lake Naivasha, a tranquil freshwater lake set amid lush greenery and rich birdlife, with hippos often spotted along the shores. Upon arrival, check in at Enashipai Resort & Spa and enjoy time to unwind by the lake. Optional: Take a scenic boat ride across the sparkling waters or visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Driving distance: approximately 240 km / 4–5 hours.

Travel through the picturesque Rift Valley to Amboseli National Park, where the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the horizon above roaming elephant herds. You’ll arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for a relaxed lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This is the perfect opportunity to capture iconic images of elephants set against the dramatic backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Driving distance: approximately 320 km / 5–6 hours.

Spend the day discovering Amboseli’s diverse scenery, from lush swamps and open dusty plains to acacia woodlands. The park is famous for its close-up elephant encounters and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Optional: Enjoy a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. Later, return to the lodge to unwind by the pool or savor a sundowner as the African sun dips behind the mountain.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll travel back to Nairobi for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Your driver guide will ensure a smooth transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll board your flight to the famed Spice Island. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to The Mora Zanzibar, your luxurious retreat for the next two nights.

Today is yours to enjoy the stunning beauty of Zanzibar’s powder-white beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the sunshine or swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Enjoy your final morning in paradise with a relaxed breakfast before transferring to the airport. You’ll fly back to Nairobi, where there’s time for last-minute shopping or unwinding before your international journey home. As you bid farewell to East Africa, you’ll carry with you a collection of unforgettable memories.
