4 Days Fly In Selous Classic Safari

Depart Dar Es Salaam (JK NYERERE Airport) early in the morning flying to Selous Game Reserve.  On arrival at Mtemere Airstrip, your guide will pick you up once the plane touches down and having a short game drive while heading to the lodge for check-in. After lunch and relaxation, you will be picked up around 16h00 for evening sunset boat safari along the great Rufiji River to spotting Hippos, Crocodiles, and Birds, and enjoying the spectacular sundown.

Early morning after breakfast depart the Lodge for a full day tour in the park. The whole day will be spent in the park viewing the amazing wildlife. picnic lunch will be provided in the mid-day where by your guide will select a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink. expect to see any of the major African great favourite mammals, including Elephant, Giraffes, Lions, Buffalo, Zebra and even the rare African Wild Dog. Early in the morning after a simple breakfast (a cup of Coffee/Tea & snacks), you will start morning walking safari around 06:30 am. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger and it will take almost 2-3 hours long.

Walking safari is a fantastic way to experience more about the Selous Bushes. Although you may see wildlife during the walk the focus is also on the habitat that the animals live in, insects, trees, and birdlife. Later after walking safari you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast before departing Mtemere Airstrip returning to Dar Es Salaam
