Simba campsite is situated on Mount Kilimanjaro’s northeastern part, just near the Rongai gate located on the Kenya and Tanzania border.

Simba campsite lies in the heath zone of Mount Kilimanjaro, just outside the rainforest vegetation zone which could possibly be the greenest vegetation that you would meet as you climb higher but less green than that of the rainforest vegetation zone.

Simba Camps’ vegetation has more animals than the other regions further up Mount Kilimanjaro.
