Your safari adventure begins upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi. After meeting your safari guide, you will begin your journey south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations.

Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Upon arrival, you will enjoy your first introduction to Kenya’s wildlife as animals roam freely across the open plains.

After breakfast, the journey continues south toward the Kenya–Tanzania border, where the landscapes begin to shift from open savannahs to the distinctive baobab-dotted terrain of Tarangire.

Tarangire’s ancient baobab trees rise like monuments across the plains, creating a landscape unlike anywhere else in East Africa. As the sun begins to set, the adventure takes a rare turn with an evening night game drive, revealing the hidden life of the African wilderness after dark.

Owls, genets, and other nocturnal creatures emerge while predators begin their nightly movements across the savannah.

Today unfolds slowly within the quiet wilderness of Tarangire, a park often described as one of Tanzania’s most underrated safari landscapes.

Elephant families move gracefully between baobab trees, antelope gather along seasonal riverbeds, and the golden light of the savannah creates a timeless atmosphere that feels far removed from the outside world.

In the evening, return to your lodge located just outside the park, where the peaceful setting offers a relaxing end to the day.

Leaving Tarangire behind, the expedition climbs into the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, where volcanic landscapes dominate the horizon.

The landscape here is defined by open plains and winding rivers where predators and prey coexist in one of the world’s most dynamic wildlife environments. Lions rest beneath scattered acacia trees while herds of grazing animals move steadily across the horizon.

Every direction reveals a different scene of wildlife and wilderness.

The expedition now moves north into one of the most remote regions of the Serengeti.

The terrain gradually becomes more rugged as the landscape approaches the Mara River, a natural boundary between Tanzania and Kenya. This region forms the famous migration corridor where millions of wildebeest and zebras travel each year.

Arriving here feels like stepping into a frontier of pure wilderness.

A full day is spent exploring the northern Serengeti, where wildlife movements shape the rhythm of the landscape.

Depending on the season, the plains may fill with enormous herds gathering along the Mara River, preparing for one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles—the river crossing.

Even beyond migration season, the region remains rich with wildlife and remarkably uncrowded.

Today the journey continues across international borders as the safari moves from Tanzania back into Kenya’s Masai Mara.

Though part of the same ecosystem as the Serengeti, the Mara introduces a different character—rolling grasslands, scattered hills, and some of the highest predator densities in Africa.

This seamless connection between parks highlights the scale of the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem.

The Masai Mara offers a spectacular final chapter to the expedition.

Game drives reveal vast landscapes filled with wildlife, where lions, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species roam across the open savannah. The reserve is also known for its remarkable predator sightings, often considered among the best in Africa.

As the sun sets over the Mara plains, it marks the final evening of your cross-country safari.

After breakfast, begin your return journey toward Nairobi. You may choose to travel by road through Kenya’s scenic countryside, enjoying one last look at the landscapes and rural life of East Africa.

For those who prefer a faster and more comfortable option, an optional scheduled flight from the Masai Mara to Nairobi can also be arranged, offering beautiful aerial views of the savannah below.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
