Spend 5 days exploring Kenya including Masai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli and 8 days in Tanzania, visiting Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar. The itinerary includes a cross-border transfer from the Masai Mara to the Serengeti via the Isebania border. If you prefer, you can end the trip with a transfer to Amboseli for one or two nights before concluding in Nairobi instead of Arusha. The entire route can also be done in reverse, beginning in Arusha.
On your final day, you’ll begin very early with a picnic lunch in hand and descend 2,000 ft to the crater floor in a 4×4 vehicle for 5–6 hours of game viewing. Explore this natural “Garden of Eden” Ngorongoro, a vast and deep volcanic crater.
The crater floor features rich pastures, swamps, forests, and permanent water sources, creating a habitat that supports abundant and diverse wildlife. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, after clearing immigration, your driver will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
