Renowned for its large lion population, the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, and the Maasai community known for their unique customs and traditional attire, this area is undeniably one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.
Perched high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was among the earliest safari lodges established in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which explains the lush, mature gardens and trees surrounding it. The lodge’s structures are inspired by traditional African round houses with conical roofs, arranged along the hillside, with spacious communal buildings and a swimming pool situated at the heart of the property.
