6-Day Northern Circuit Safari

You arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your guide welcomes you and transfers you to your lodge in Arusha. The drive is easy and gives you your first look at the surroundings.

This day is intentionally relaxed. After your journey, you have time to settle in, enjoy a good meal, and prepare for the safari ahead. The environment is quiet, allowing you to rest properly before the early start the next day.

After breakfast, you begin your safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and wide open landscapes. As you enter the park, the scenery immediately feels different, with giant baobab trees and dry riverbeds shaping the environment.

The game drive moves at a steady pace, giving you time to take in the surroundings. You may see elephants moving in groups, giraffes feeding among the trees, and zebras crossing the tracks. The park has a quiet and natural feel, which makes it a strong place to start the safari.

By late afternoon, you leave the park and head to your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

After breakfast, you drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a smaller but very diverse park known for its greenery and variety of habitats. The environment changes quickly from open landscapes to forest, creating a fresh and different experience.

As you enter the park, you may see monkeys moving through the trees, elephants in the forest, and birds near the lake. The presence of water and forest gives Manyara a softer and more compact feel compared to Tarangire.

The game drive is smooth and easy, allowing you to enjoy the contrast in scenery and wildlife. By the end of the day, you return to your lodge in Karatu, where you prepare for the journey toward Serengeti.

After breakfast, you depart from Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park.

The journey is long but very rewarding, as the landscape changes gradually from green highlands to wide, open plains.

As you enter Serengeti, the space feels vast and uninterrupted. This is where the safari takes on a different scale. You begin a game drive on arrival, giving you your first experience of the park’s wildlife and open environment.

Wildlife sightings can start early, with animals spread across the plains. You continue toward your camp or lodge, where you settle in and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bush.

You spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park, allowing you to move deeper into wildlife areas and experience the park without rushing.

The day begins early, when the air is cool and animals are more active. As the day continues, the pace remains flexible. Your guide follows wildlife movement, taking you to the best areas based on current activity.

Serengeti is not only about the number of animals, but also the feeling of space and freedom. The open plains, scattered trees, and constant movement create a complete safari experience. This full day gives you time to enjoy it properly, rather than just passing through.

After an early start, you head toward the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this unique wildlife area. The crater offers a different experience from Serengeti, with animals living within a more contained environment.

As you explore the crater floor, wildlife is easier to find, allowing you to enjoy strong sightings in a shorter time. You may see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and many other species within a few hours.

The landscape itself adds to the experience, with open grasslands and water sources creating a rich environment.

After your game drive and a short break, you ascend from the crater and begin your return to Arusha or transfer to the airport.
